It is good to contemplate the temporal nature of life and the things that are of real value.<br /><br />There is a quote by a Jewish king of antiquity; King Solomon. He said it is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart. Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.<br /><br />It is curious how important testing soil or selling paint may seem at the time. I too am constantly in need of an adjustment in perspective.
