WHY I AM NOT A FAN OF FLYING

A US Airways flight from LaGuardia Airport in New York went down in the Hudson River this afternoon with 155 passengers and crew on board, and rescuers moved quickly to remove everyone from the plane as it gradually settled into the frigid water. Authorities said there were no fatalities and that all aboard got off safely. Flight 1549, an Airbus A320, appeared to make a controlled landing in the water shortly after takeoff from New York bound for Charlotte, N.C.
Authorities said the plane appeared to have hit one or more birds on takeoff. Initial accounts indicated the airliner lost both engines.

An Airbus A320 versus a flock of friggin' birds. And the friggin' birds won. As the title of this blog states...the world has completely gone mad. Lightning, mid-air collisions, engine failures? Nah, we went down because of some birds

Bird population that has grown due to environmentalists protection. So really, Liberals are to blame... ultimately!

And, if we libs hadn't been so environmentally friendly, the passengers could have departed the plane and walked to shore!! Prior to us, the Hudson River was a number one carcinogen.

There is little evidence that PCBs are deadly for you, let alone unhealthy (PCBs are the number one contaminate found in the Hudson -- from GE). The EPA -- an organization that should be shut down -- and the eco-fascists may think it is deadly, but just like acid rain, and other scares (global warming comes to mind)... all the fears placed on you and I are just that -- imaginary fear.

DDT is number 2, by-the-by. One of the makers of DDT took a spoonful of DDT, which, if the left was right, would have killed him. But it didn't... the non-use of it however has killed over 50-million Africans.

Leave me alone, Papa. I am celebrating the grand spectacle of the Obama express as it sped by a continuous throng of onlookers every inch of the way.....

NOT. I am always disapointed in the inaugurations (partially because us liberals have had so damn few of them to call our own).
So much money spent in a puffed up hoop-lah, which rhymes with
Oop-rah, who has made it known she will be there, another pin prick in my victory balloon.

The best part of watching the train today?...seeing David Gergen, Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer trying to fill up all of the air time with "Obama stuff."
