Bristol Palin, the 17-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin, is pregnant and will keep the baby and marry the father, a senior aide to Sen. John McCain confirmed to CNN Tuesday. Republican presidential candidate McCain was aware of Bristol Palin's pregnancy before he chose her mother for his running mate, the aide said.
"Senator McCain knew this and felt in no way did it disqualify her from being vice president," said the aide. "Families have difficulties sometimes, and lucky for her she has a supportive family." The 17-year-old, a senior in high school, is about five months along, in her second trimester, according to the aide.

Wrong.
It would be an issue if she had an abortion... that wouldn't be an issue with the left. She is keeping her child and making plans to marry the father. Just like my wife and I (she gave birth at 17, I was 20. We married later).
Pro-life bud, pro-life.

It wouldn't have been an issue at all if she could have easily picked up some condoms in school, just like at the Olympics....
Having said that, that will be one gorgeous baby.

Condoms doesn't stop HPV and Herpes very well Kimba. Not to mention the spiritual bond people tend to have when connected at that level, which condoms do not protect either.
In fact, I am about three chapters in a review copy of Prude: How the Sex-Obsessed Culture Damages Girls, a book you and your wife should read... especially if you have teen girls still in the nest.
So lets recap... emotionally, HPV and Herpies... Oh yes, and the 15% failure rate:
According to The Kentucky Citizen's Digest, (Jan/Feb 1993, pg.4) article entitled "Condom Roulette", a study on the effectiveness of condoms was published by Family Planning Perspectives (Planned Parenthood's Journal). In that study, the Alan Guttmacher Institute estimated that condoms have a 15.7% overall failure rate.

Dr. Theresa Crenshaw, past president of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapist, gave a lecture on AIDS to 800 sexologists at an international gathering in 1987. According to the Kentucky Citizen's Digest (Jan/Feb 1993, p.4-5), she asked her colleagues, that if they had available to them the partner of their dreams, and knew that person carried the HIV virus, would they have sex, depending on a condom for protection. No one raised their hand. After a long delay, one hand surfaced in the back of the room. Dr. Crenshaw concluded that "putting a mere balloon between a healthy body and a deadly disease is not safe."
Do you ever warn your kids about the possible risk of condom use? Or do you just say, "You shouldn't have sex, but if you do, wear this."?

I can't see the sense in calling liberals or conservatives pro life or pro choice... It's a silly argument. How about we just settle with being pro- people?
.
Unfortunately, the definition of life typically (by democrats) isn't applied to babies until birth... there is a movement (not conservative) to try and make human-hood (pro-people as you say) until a month after birth.
I wonder what that will do to the Planned Parenthood gross-margin, since over 90% of their profit is from abortions. Could you imagine, bring your 3-week old in with a doctor note and we will dispose of "it."
I like to try this on people. Can you refer to yourself while in your mothers womb without using personnel descriptions of yourself. You see, "being" is what makes us human, and "being" has always been there, since conception.
Pro-Person speaks about anti-people legal practices:

I won't add to the abortion debate here except to say that there is such a thing as a liberal who believes that life begins at conception. I'm one of them, but I stress the word "believe" because it's still a matter of faith - no one really knows for sure, so until we know, my feeling is that we have to give the embryo the benefit of the doubt. So how can I also believe in a woman's right to choose (which I do)? I guess it's because, to me, the question isn't, "is it life?" The question is, "whose life is it?" which is an even harder question for everyone to agree on. So the trick is to create an environment where there are no unwanted pregnancies so that no one will ever have to seek an abortion. How do we do that? I don't know, but one thing I do know is that the whole abstinence thing will never, ever fly. As for Bristol Palin, conservatives are happy with her decision to keep her baby. I'm happy too, and I'm even happier that the decision was hers to make.
Personally, I cannot think of a fertilized egg as "life," only having the potential for life. I do, however, agree that the liberal base is ready for a pro-life candidate.
Thanks Kim, Jennifer and Papa.. abortion should NOT be a political issue. There are more important things we can work on.
