The Obama quote on Ronald Reagan. Did he specifically say he liked the Republican platform of Reagan? No. That was misstated. But Obama's imitation of Reagan's platform is the highest form of flattery, isn't it? Change. Times when the country was ready for a new direction. A fundamentally different path. A change away from the excesses in governmental spending, away from a larger government, away from a period of non-transparency in government, and no dynamism in government caused the American voters to want change.
